Spending a week on San Juan Island is magical no matter what, but having so many Southern Resident Killer Whales here is extra amazing. Today the Jpod joined up with the Kpod, eventually making it along the west side of the island in the evening.

They passed Lime Kiln State Park going north, then immediately turned south and some of them came in VERY close to shore right at the lighthouse.
