Back in October 2019 I had a through hike of the Grand Canyon planned, but I got sick beforehand and was not well enough to do the hike. I was fortunately still able to go on the trip, so I just got to see the canyon from above by car instead of by hiking across it. If you haven't been before, I highly recommend adding it to your to-do list. It is GORGEOUS and just. SO. BIG. The scale of the canyon really blew me away.
